And so.. Another year has passed.

On 30th April 2012, I brought home a frightened little feathered friend, a Budgerigar.
He (who is in fact a 'she') was named Mykey.
A year on, she has helped me so much with my depression and anxiety; who knew that one little animal could do so much for big ol' me...?
Anyway, she has been the reluctantly patient subject of most of my photos since (although she loves the attention..), so I thought that I would share this little cutie with you all.
I am still learning how to use my Canon DSLR... I really need to take a class or something... I'm fine with the pre-sets, but I want to be able to use a manual setting!
So I'll start uploading some new photos! I've taken a lot since my last upload. I may have been on a year ago, but I don't think I uploaded anything.... :/

WHAT!? It's been a year already!?

So apparently it's been around a year since I was last on DA....
So I quit college... Didn't even finish my first year, so I feel great about that obviously..... ¬_¬
I'm still off work and being signed off by the doctor and not feeling better AT all. It's been 3 years since I had to stop work for the first time :/
I finally got a DSLR last month Canon 1100D. It may not be great, but I'm aiming high and this is just a starter camera, seeing as I've never had an SLR or been able to use interchangeable lenses. I've just uploaded a few of my favourites. So far it's pretty much just been birds in the garden... God bless a telephoto lens ^.^
I'm hoping to go to Blenheim Palace soon and some other wildlife-y places, see what I can snap there. Taking a class soon to learn how to use all these different functions.
Also uploaded a collage of Demi Lovato that I made on The Sims 3, which also contains actual photos of her that I used as reference to make the Sim.

...I'm sure in this case, it doesn't really apply, as the VERY few of you following me have probably not even noticed that I haven't been on in months!! Haha...

Unfortunately, I have now withdrawn, unable to cope.... So more time to pay attention to DeviantArt?... Well, we'll see! XD
Following my 3-week trip to Malaysia in February, I am hoping to get some photos of the stunning scenery up on here.

Halloween

SO.. That time of year has come and gone.. Again :/
Can't believe it's November already!!! Madness. Halfway through assignments. Next thing we know it'll be Christmas!
Anyway, I FINALLY have a 'Contests' folder in my Gallery ^^ first contest entry - Halloween carving. Not that I reckon it's much good haha, but why not enter anyway....
Just had half term :/ good to be at home and have a break, but otherwise, I can't say it was good at all....
Right, better crack on with some work :/

It's been a while since my last entry. I've been quite busy with college and stuff. Really enjoying the course so far
Can't believe it's half way through October already!!
Had a trip to the Natural History Museum and Science Museum in London already.
Taking my camera back to college with me next week, so hopefully I'll be able to take some pretty good pictures there It's a beautiful place.
